About your Trainer

about me: I am a dog lover above anything else! I love dogs more than people.

My goal is to not “fix” any “bad” dog behavior, but rather help the owner/pack leader work with their dog to create boundaries, safety, and peace in their lives!

qualifications + experience

  • dog sitter + trainer for 2+ years

  • great pyrenees owner (need i say more)

  • founder of Norkova + mental health advocate

  • trained by cinnas best dog training in Slc

I am passionate about canine understanding, education, and advocacy. In the past, I’ve fostered dogs +actively host fundraisers for various shelters.

SO many dogs are returned to shelters for behavior.

I not only want to train humans how to love their dogs better, I want to share this training method so we can help shelters train and love their dogs to make them more adoptable!

*In the off chance the owner/dog duo is not a good fit, we’ll refund your registration fee or schedule a 1:1 training.

Course Schedule 

Prior to course start

Read over course materials and complete first module assignment

Week 1

Zoom call intro, check-in, round table, discussion based on Module 1

Zoom call date TBA!

Week 2

Read Module 2

1:1 Training, 30 minutes with Kate on leash training + basic behavioral demo
*We’ll schedule the 1:1 training to accommodate schedules

Week 3

Available office hours call with Kate

Complete Module 3 + assignment

Continue leash + leadership training



Week 4

Group Class + Certificates!
