First, you don’t need to be a member to join events! We have ad hoc sign-ups for all events.

If you find yourself coming to more than 1 event a month, we created a Community Collective Membership for a few reasons:

1) Accessibility - There is power in numbers. The more people coming to events, the lower we can keep the cost. With so many events of various kinds - we attract all types of interests and people. Consistency and sustainability is key.

If you go to 2 events a month, the membership pays for itself. And if you don’t, you are still supporting your community even if you can’t be there.

2) Growth - Let’s be real - getting people to show up to things is hard. The goal here is create a sense of belonging…but how can you feel like you belong if you see different people at every class or event?

The memberships creates “buy-in,” literally, physically, financially, energetically - in hopes Norkova members , Norkovies, will regularly attend events, even if it’s one a month - to stay plugged in and connected.

3) Supporting Local - We are not, nor will we ever be a fitness or yoga studio. However, we love fitness, yoga, movement, and workshops. And saunas, and cold plunges, and fresh brewed coffee, and live music. All of things!

These are essential to our well-being and a large portion of norkova events.

The “collective” piece of the Community Collective Membership allows local instructors, practitioners, studios, teachers to plug into norkova seamlessly.
